10th Birthday Celebrations

Since our last newsletter Gourmet Safaris celebrated 10 years of operation. We had a wonderful evening of at the Summerland Restaurant in Bankstown - the place where the idea of food tours came to me long ago.

Many thanks to all of you who have supported us and made the last 10 years so much fun.

Greece

Our Greek Island trip has a lovely big gang going in a few weeks to enjoy the delights of four special islands with guide Liz Kaydos. We promise to bring you a few recipes and photos from the group in our next newsletter. 

Food Safari

Thank you for you continuing support for our beautiful food show on SBS on Wednesday nights at 7.30pm. It seems to be the water-cooler show of the year - our word of mouth support is huge.

You can access all the recipes on sbs.com.au/foodsafari. We are now part of an SBS food site - not as glorious as it was before and harder to find your way around...but worth it get those ingredients and recipe written out ready to cook.

We are now in production with Food Safari Series 3....I know you all have a seriously great food knowledge ..so if you have any "finds" - great homecooks, restaurants, shops or producers amongst the following cuisines, please let us know...

African, Syrian, United States, Jewish, English, German, Persian.

Stay warm and well fed...its a bitter winter in Sydney this year but great for eating and discovering new tastes.
