Hello food lovers

We're aware this is called a food month in Sydney but all our months at Gourmet Safaris are food related...we are so blessed!

We'd like to share with you some recent feedback on safaris and a few photos.
Safari Lunches

Spice I Am - an exceptional Thai lunch prepared with such love and care by chef Sujet and his team. This is a magic window into Thai food and hospitality. This time Sujet demonstrated how to make his famous red curry paste and then surprised everyone with an easy recipe for red duck curry and a jar of paste he'd prepared earlier.  We do love coming here.

Blue Eye Dragon - this was a very elegant lunch prepared by chef Jade Chen, who has been cooking her lovely Taiwanese recipes as a chef in both Taiwan and now in Sydney. Her daughter Muriel is front of house and explained much of what makes the cuisine unique and different.

Peruvian dinner - A delicious entree into one of Sydney's newer cuisines with chef Jorge Chacon who appeared in Food Safari and who created a wonderful tasting menu. Luis Almenara started the night by whipping up magnificent pisco sours and his wife Carmen wrapped it up with her divine Peruvian chocolates made in Australia called tejas (check out www.tejasdelsolar.com.au)

Pizza Class - its so nice visiting our long running safaris and seeing the pleasure that people get from getting a few tips on making good pizza and then making one themselves.
