2 Gourmet Goddess Michelle Holden
Maeve is one of these madly busy women, running around all the time with a million things going on all at once and the picture aims to represent the may food lives of Maeve O'Meara. It's almost like she would be an octopus if she could. She's got a very global outlook, beyond religion or culture, she believes in the commonality of us all having to eat. She's great to work with; open to everything. She comes in a swirl and leaves in the same sort of madness. I've photographed her at home before and there's always so much going on. There's kids and animals and people dropping around and there's all this colour. Maeve is a very colourful person. She creates from a very mixed palette.
